Hey all. I've found a nice demo fix tool for the new update. It's not me who made this, but I just wanted to share so we all can watch demos in viewdemo.
Steam has chosen to make an update of the protocol of 1.6, not many people really believed it was going to happen, but it happened this night. For better information read the statement beneath.
Nomad wrote ... New CS 1.6 update with consequences for your demo collection.
As some of you might have noticed Valve has been running a beta for an update version of CS 1.6, what exactly the new features will be we are not yet aware of, we however do believe it includes more community features, and an attempt to eliminate silent running using duck jump, but the most notable change, and the reason for this heads up is that the protocol of CS will be changed from 47 to 48.
Most of you probably have no idea why this protocol change matters, but it means that ALL old demos will stop working, yes that is right, all 4500 demos in the HLTV.org demosection, all the demos you have saved over the past years, they will not play. So make sure to get those movies made as soon as possible, rumors has it the update will be released sometime this week.
We have been trying to find a way to make old demos work in the new version, but until now we have not been able to get anywhere. We will keep at it, but it is doubtful they will ever work in the new version.
The good news are that we have been working closely with Valve to make sure HLTV smoothly made the transition to the new version, and from our last tests HLTV should work just as before when the new update goes live.

It’s been a while since I made my first interview with a person from Kreedz scene. I remember that I had to cancel a project with someone from KZ scene to and to start another one, because the environs forced me to do that. Now, I would say that my first tentative of making interviews with persons from another CS side kind of failed. Like always there is a but… after I made that interview with In[10]sE, things turned out to be great. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect, but as is said the public’s reaction was great. Because of this thing, I wanted to continue making interviews with guys from KZ for three reasons: Firstly, I’m sure that the following interviews that will be done will have a great success; Secondly, I’m a men that plays KZ to, I’m absolutely convinced that this game is an amazing one and deserves to have many interviews; And thirdly, I think that this scene should have a capable interviewer, if not more, to show for you guys the things that hides behind a jumper and all the backstage game, not the game itself. Now it’s time to tell you guys a few things about this interview. This time I brought beside me a men that not many of you managed to speak with him, because he doesn’t like to be in the center of attention and because not many of you know who is actually the guy named… please pay attention now… the guy named… NumB. I want to tell that I was surprised of what men I discovered. He is truly a person with who you can discuss anything anytime. Beside this, I discovered a guy with amazing coding skills… I actually dare to say that he his “a mad scientist”. I told him that he should work for N.A.S.A or go to M.I.T. and I’m not kidding. So, if you want to know the story of the great LJ-stats plugin, about the future plugins that will be done, what he thinks about Kreedz scene and many more, start reading this interview. I will not say anything more, just have fun with this interview.
